Preserves

Our slightly eclectic range of preserves includes:

Sea-salt preserved lemons presented in a vacuum sealed 500ml Le Parfait jar with limes in a 350ml jar. All the citrus fruit we use is organically grown.

'Persian' pickled garlic made to an Iranian recipe using Isle of Wight garlic with coriander seeds, peppercorns, chilli, white wine vinegar and sea salt in a vacuum sealed 350ml Le Parfait jar.

Spiced Sussex pears, a festive treat, presented in a 500ml vacuum sealed Le Parfait jar.

Spiced orange slices, craved for by all roast ducks and geese at Christmas presented in a 350ml vacuum sealed Le Parfait jar.

Mango 'chuckle' and cranberry 'chuckle'. Simply the fruit with vinegar, sugar and a pinch of salt. The mango has the added warmth of chilli whilst the cranberry revels in the addition of orange and ginger. Presented in ½ lb hexagonal jars.

Damson 'cheese' (a thick fruit paste) appears when we have a moment to indulge ourselves, again in ½ lb hexagonal jars.

Flavoured sugars and dry salt rubs, bringing 'zing' to dishes, make a welcome addition to our range.
